IndonesiaZine is a library of zines written by Indonesian high school students for readers learning Indonesian as a foreign language.

The zines in this library were created during and after a series of zine writing workshops in Indonesia in September 2015. The workshops were led by Australian author Deryn Mansell, with the support of a travel grant from the Australia-Indonesia Institute.¬†Assistance with planning and implementing the workshops was provided by¬†the Makassar International Writers Festival, Asia Education Foundation‘s BRIDGE School Partnerships Program, and teachers from six participating schools: SMAN 11 Unggulan Pinrang; SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya; SMAN 15 Surabaya; SMAN 5 Surabaya; Tranby College, Western Australia; and SMPN 1 Karangmojo.

This library would not exist without the enthusiasm and hard work of the zine writers. If you like a zine, please leave a comment on the page so the writers know they have an audience.

IndonesiaZine is supported by the Australian Government through the Australia-Indonesia Institute of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
